Arrival date and time:
Check-in is 3:00 PM on day of arrival
Please note that traffic on Friday may be heavy on I270 after 3pm
Departure time and date:
After lunch Sunday, April 30, 2023: 1 PM
Room check out: Sunday, April 30, 2023: 10 a.m.
Turn keys in at or before 10:00 am.
Programming is planned until 11:30 on Sunday
Please plan to stay until then
Rideshare:
We have created a rideshare board
If you can offer a ride or are looking for a ride, fill out the rideshare form
Local rides (within the wide DC area) and rides to and from airports or other East Coast cities will all be on rideboard. Rides will be needed to Claggett Thursday, Friday, and Home again on Sunday.

Parking:
See signs for the Welcome Center along road that leads to Christiane Inn. Speed limit is 15 mph.
The rear entrance to the Christiane Inn
is directly next to the parking lot.
Enter through that door to receive room assignments and check in.
The MOSh Retreat Welcome Desk is in the Christiane Inn
and will be open 3 PM to 5 PM on Thursday and Friday.
Map of the complex and map of hiking trails will be available.
All buildings are in close proximity. If you are in need of an accessible room in the Inn, please email us ASAP
Dining: all meals are served buffet style in the Sugarloaf dining hall.
Please be sure that you have advised MOSh of any dietary needs.
Snacks:
We are welcome to bring our own snacks, for either personal use or sharing. There is a refrigerator for everyone’s use on 2nd floor of the Inn.
Please bring your favorite snacks for sharing, either homemade or store-bought goodies and soft drinks. We will put them out at snack times! Please label gluten free and nut free foods.
Hot tea/coffee/juice/water will always be available in the dining room.
What might you want to bring?
Tallis, Tefillin, Kippah, Siddur
White clothing for Shabbat
Yoga Mat
Travel Mug for water/coffee (ONLY closed containers will be allowed in our davvenen space)
Journal
Medications
Soap (provided), shampoo,
Hair dryer (Claggett has a limited number for loan)
Frisbee
Stuffed animals for Adon Olam parade!
Hiking shoes
THE THREE “C’s”
Cancellation:
Refunds will be offered on a case by case basis.
Covid Policy:
For the safety of our community: We are asking everyone to take a COVID home quick test on each of the 2 days before arrival, and again the day of arrival.
Please be sure to obtain tests ahead of time as needed.
Please do not attend the retreat if you are not feeling well.
Masks at all gatherings are optional.
Outdoor dining space will be available.
Claggett rules and regulations:
Claggett is a smoke free campus. There is a designated guest smoking vaping area in the parking lot in front of the welcome center.
Internet Access
There is free internet access on campus
